• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

some people are just nuts i tell you

Giving nuts a bad name...

:roflblack: but really...who's chasing who this looks like a onesided deal...:dontknow:

If that is the video from Vancouver Island it was a while back. Can't remember but it was a year or more ago and the idiot posted this on Youtube. There was no chase involved and they eventually figured out who it was. He claimed it was someone else riding. Not very long ago the same guy was involved in something similar with a car I think. Stupid is as stupid does and you can't fix stupid.

The laws of probability will catch up with this fool, eventually. I hope he is riding alone when it happens, and it is a tree or a bridge abutment, rather than a minivan full of children that does it . . . :banghead:

From the looks of things, I would also say no chase involved. Another person looking for their two minutes of fame (here).

Threading the needle between cars at those speeds sure does not give any room for error, or something that may be an obstruction in the road. One second of anything bad, and the driver is going to be airborne and worse for sure.

Glad no one else became involved in the lunacy.

For many years I have ALWAYS wanted to take a Hyabusa to a certain LONG straight road north of Las Vegas and just see if it would hit 300 kph - and stay there for a while. What a thrill that would be!

Weaving in and out of traffic - too old for that now.

But, - - -

300 kph (~180 mph) is STILL on my Bucket LIST!

PS

One Sunday morning in ~2007 we took off from our starting point in Anaheim, CA heading down south I-5. On my SV1000S I was holding 140. The guy on the ZX-14 ran off and hid from me!!!

Willow Springs was always fun, too.
