• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I would just like to give some information about the F3-S that I picked up last Friday. First of all the peg adjustment takes some time to get used to. I would take the standard set up unless you are short or tall. I went one forward (I am 5ft 9) and I am not sure that I like it. So I will ride awhile and see. When you make adjustments you have to buy the different linkage. The second thing I want to mention is that the cannonball seat looks great on the bike but I don't think it was worth the money. Try to look at one before you get this option. I think when it breaks in a bit it will be fine. The windshield is more like a deflector. I am ok with this I like to look over it. Also it has rounded corners and it doesn't look too bad. The shifting takes a few miles to get used to. You go through the gears much faster. The machine is very responsive and stable and fun to ride. I hope this information helps someone who is look at these bikes. The back rack is nice also it comes with a cargo net. The only thing I will put on it now is a bumpskid and some caps.

That is correct. If you want to change the foot peg length you would need to purchase the correct length rod. Also if you want the different handle bars you purchase them as well.

Not cool.

You should not be charged for the UFIT setting you need. My dealership forgot to change my foot peg setting to +2 (farthest) when I picked it up, they felt so bad they gave me the +2 to take with me (I was in a rush to ride the F3S and no way was I waiting!) and than told me to keep the stock linkage because it was their screw up.

I hope most dealerships are not charging for the linkage...

Agreed fully. The UFIT as written to customers makes it sound like it is fully adjustable, which it
is but, you need to buy the +2, +1 or -2, -1 rod sets. I am 5'11" and was going to use the +1 but
decided on the +2 while I was picking it up. I'm very happy with that setting (+2).

I am amazed by some folks that buy F3s off the floor without sitting on them to see if they are correctly fitted and then comparing that to the bike in the dealership that has the ufit system on it.. If you pay a little extra attention you can get the bike fitted in the original cost. I bought mine sight unseen so my dealer may sure it fit when it came in with no cost to me...

The short reach handlebars and brake linkage was figured into the overall cost of thr F3 when I bought it. The different reach handle bars I think are $149.00 and the linkage is something like $27.00. I really didn't care especially when I consider how much I spent on getting my RS the way I wanted it. The F3 is a bargin!

I have a standard F3. My biggest challenge in riding is rear-end pain. I liked the standard seat (very soft), but decided to try the Cannonball. It was firmer, but broke in some after 800 miles or so. Still thought I liked the original better, so I changed it back, now I'm not so sure cannonball wasn't better. I'll figure it out some point.....crazy.
