All of those "sauces" were created to cover the rotted meat taste. I think Worcester was the first.

Earl of Sandwich Legacy Continues

I'm thrilled our Brit brothers have continued to improve the food item, that my all time favorite Brit, The Earl of Sandwich, is recognized as creating... Jolly good show...:2thumbs:

HP sauce has become a legend in the UK. It is different from A1, less sweet I think.
Obviously to obtain it in the States involves a price premium. That bottle (above link) costs
around $1.70 in my local supermarket. Try it you'll like it! Tastes good on a cheese sandwich too!
Spread it on the toast before you melt the cheese....even better!
