• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

some electronics not funtioning

I'm hoping these two things are related (and maybe just a single fuse).... I first noticed that I could not set Cruise-Control then later I could not set Parking Brake.

Any Ideas of where I should start?

on the cruise are you sure your break lights are not sticking on, i have had that problem. on the parking break i really have no clue

When you say you can’t set your parking brake does the parking brake motor try to engage when you hit the switch?

nothing happens when I engage parking brake, notice the dash light did not come on....so I tested, let off clutch and away I go.
The cruise "on" light comes on but will not latch (turns off when I release switch)

This seems to indicate that the trouble with the Cruise Control is due to a bad switch.

The issue with the parking brake is probably due to something else not related to cruise.

As John suggested; check to make sure that your brakelights aren't stuck on... After that; it's probably a bad switch.
The Parking brake? :dontknow:

Little checking..!!

the cruise control would seem to be the switch or speed sensor. If your park cable has jumped the track / disconnected you would not have parking brake but should hear the motor....:dontknow:

I can only guess.
If your windshield motor functions then my guess is that the switch is either slightly out of the socket or is defective.

windshield works.... I was hoping it may just be a fuse issue or something within my braincell function, but I guess we'll be scheduling a visit with the dealership.

Thanks for all your help

Parking Break

I had the same problem last year, it was a bad brake switch. The cruise controls and brakes are connected that is why it did'nt work. The next time your cruise doesn't work tap your break and it should fix the issue. I would take it to the shop and have them replace the switch though (btw my parking brake did exactly the same thing you described). Mine still sticks at times but when I tap/press breaks it works fine. Hope this helps.

my wife reminded me that I just had the rear tire replaced a few weks ago (I'd completely forgot...or at least had not connected the two).
Is this a possibility?
