Well I took my F3-S out for a ride today, covered around 60 miles and I have no belt vibration at the
speeds that others are noticing it. Maybe this is as a result of the UK model having a different rear
sprocket. The acceleration is HUGE!! 100mph is only a few seconds away irrespective of what speed you started
out with. Needless to say it's not as quick as a liter sports bike but it's still very impressive and entirely adequate.
The handling is not as crisp as my RS-S with a BajaRon swaybar but you don't feel as if the bike is trying to eject
you at every sharp turn.
The six speed transmission is excellent although gear changes are a little slower than the RS-S 5 speed but I can get used
to that. Also the throttle blipper on down shifts is not as fast in matching revs.
I can see this bike not requiring as much tweaking as earlier models, so much Kudos to Lamont for his input during
the development of the F3.......and I mean that. It's also good to see that a large company has taken on board
suggestions from someone like Lamont despite the fact that he was one of the Spyder Five, they didn't have to.
As I have posted elsewhere my Lazer modular helmet does fit into the frunk and that being so I can see that there'll be no problem
with my Schuberth S2. More when I ryde again!!
