Spyder Stats

I have a 2010 RT SM5. Fogs, fender LEDs, digital/analog gauges etc all factory. I get about 28 on the highway, two up no added cargo, average speed in the 60 mph range. Need to have the analog fuel gauge replaced due to bounce. Haven't had the DPS done yet. Looking for an enclosed trailer for long hauls. Ride with a group all former or active military, it blows them away when I hit reverse to park while they have to horse their Harleys back.

Baby Spyder

I am in the process of buying a Spyder (RS, 2009). Can anyone tell me what the average mpg you have experienced? How hard is it to park one of these beautiful machines? A regular parking spot?

What if you tend to keep it in 1st or 2nd? The back roads make it impossible to go faster than 25 (I don't even go faster in my cage).

getting better all the time

We have only had ours for a month and been keeping complete records of all gas. We started at 25.7 and are up to 29.3 and still has not top at this time:2thumbs::yes:

Right now I am sitting at 29.4 -- I filled up once, and during the last (first) ryde, I topped off (3 extra gallons) since it was an opportunity.

Pretty cool. My car gives me 30, so I didn't buy Charlotte for the gas mileage, but I do like riding better than driving.
