• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

very nice ...:2thumbs: like the flip on the windshield... Your just warming up so you'll have to review again....:lecturef_smilie:you did get the picture....:clap:

Been thinking about doing the same thing. What's your opinion (pros & cons) between the two. Thanks Wayne

I put 200 miles on her today, and developed some definite opinions. First, the F3 has a much sportier feel. It's like I'm more a part of the bike, rather than sitting on top of it. To me, it's also a much more comfortable ride. I always felt cramped on the RT. Should be even better when I move the pegs further forward with the uFit adjustment. The stock seat itself is about the same for long rides, I will still need my Airhawk.

The radio is much more useful, I can actually hear it. I think it's because the speakers are pointed more at my face rather than my chest. Also, some genius figured out that you need the USB and phone connection in the glove box rather that the trunk. Much more useful!

The feeling is much more "out there" without the big front dash of the RT, and there is significantly more wind in the face for me with the stock windshield. I will probably have to buy a taller one in the future.

Overall I am very glad i did it. This bike is much more fun, and I think I will be happy with it for a long time! Can't wait to try her out on some twisties!

Congrats! The F3's are a lot of fun and very comfortable after you get the
ufit system to fit you. Enjoy and ride safe.

Some more thoughts I didn't mention above. The engine seems to run much smoother than the 2 cylinder. And the gas mileage! Probably a combination of the larger gas tank (?) and the engine, but I got twice as far on a tank as I did with the RT. Good thing since there's almost no gas to be found in San Antonio.

Trading your bike in

Will do. If I do trade at some point I would take off and try to sell what I could since they don't care about any of this stuff anyway.

Waiting to see what the 2018's have to bring and for good deals on left over 2017 F3L's. One dealer near by has a 2017 F3L, pear white, marked down to 24,800. Now that I have a year in the saddle on my RT I want to do a nice long test ride on an F3L to compare. I hate the thoughts of starting all over again with the farkling but I'm in no hurry.
