• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Soft saddlebag question

I have the Cortech saddlebags. Right now the straps are over the seat; I had extenders sewn on. When placing the straps under the seat, I know the seat will need to be adjusted up. If I remove the bags, does the seat have to be lowered to prevent any wobble? Or, can it be left up?

If your just running the stock seat just adjust the locking pin in the front out some and it will be fine both with the saddle bags under the seat as well as with them not under the seat.

That is exactly what I did, I adjusted the pin just like the one on the trunk. the other thing I did with my Cortech bags to make an easier fit under the seat was to cut the neoprene protective straps in half. I then slid half of each strap down each side. This was I was still protecting my spyder paint but not trying to stretch it all the under the seat. It made it easier to put the bags on and off and also less bulk under the seat for closing it.
