Soft Bags

My semi-rigid luggage takes up a lot of the room in my side bags. Does anyone make side luggage for the RT that is fitted to match the different sizes of the two side compartments? Also, has anyone tried the fitted bags that fit into the dark abyss in the rear trunk? They seem to offer a solution for organizing that mess. Thanks.

BRP makes soft nylon bags for the back side boxes. I have a pair, very nice and fit well. I can even put more stuff in after the bags are put in.

I just bought my RTS so the Owners Event was the first long trip for me. I bought a cooler from WalMart that fits the side compartment perfectly. It is light weight, several different compartments and has a shoulder strap. It was easy to take into the motel room. You would have thought it came with the bike. It was available in several different colors. My bike is red, so I bought a red/black. For $13.00, I have a piece of luggage that fits.

"Some Girl" used the semi rigid bags on our Maggie Valley ride. Anything else will help with more storage!!! She did a great job of packing her stuff, but she's only 110 pounds!

Any other bags will hold more stuff.

I am also looking for some thing to easily remove from the compartments without having to take trash bags:roflblack:. I see them in EBAY and Amazon but would like to know if someone already has used them. and what brand?

I've got the brp side bags and frunk bag. Side bags are great. Frunk bag is a very bad fit as they've made zero effort to shape it to match the taper.

Got my BRP soft side bags on EBay. They work great! Can carry so much more and easy to take into room with shoulder strap. They were about $55 for the two. A very good investment. They were suggested to me by Murphybrown and who travels more than her?

The BRP soft bags are the same size for both sides and you loose a lot of storage. I was very surprised by this when I got mine.

The one on Ebay look to be a perfect fit and are sized for each side of a 2010-2012 RT. I wish I bought these instead of the BRP ones. With new battery placement on the '13's there is more room on the left now. And a great price.

This is just for the side but even has a bump out to go around the battery. :thumbup:
