• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This really irks me. Since the first of the year I have lost 2 "Gremlin Bells". nojoke The first, I thought it might have fallen, broken off. Butt, the second on? Come on. :cus: Who steals a bell. Had it attached to my trailer hitch. Even the wife unit is po'd! OK, rant over. Tom :spyder:

The gremlins reclaimed their own!

Stealing someone's Gremlin Bell off of their bike has to invoke the worst Karma I could possibly imagine on the thief. :yikes:

Agree with all the above that bad karma will probably befall any gremlin bell thieves. Its like stealing from the offering basket at church.

I am also a user of twist ties. All ours have remained intact over many thousands of miles and years.

I've lost a couple when attached to the hitch on the spyder and the wing so now I hang them farther forward. I think crap coming off the rear tire is the culprit. Even a thief is probably to lazy to steal one.

I have one on each side hanging from the tie rods by small hose clamps. I used to hang them by zip ties but I was always losing them.

STOLEN GRIMLIN BELLS (Angel Bells is what we call them) DO NOT WORK if stolen.... ANGELS don't like to be violated, so you may read that the individual that stole them have passed on do to an accident... let's hope...
SPYD3R MAN DAN...

Well the wife and i went to woods hole cape cod,had a fox tail on the back of our wing ,wasnt in the shop 5 mins, sniped and gone ,cant trust anyne .

If you hang them on the trailer hitch, they will fall off. The hitch sees a lot of action because it is attached to the swingarm. The hoop on the bell quickly wears through and the bell falls off. I hang mine under the floorboard. Its been there for years now.

I have always had mine attached to the front of the floorboards. I like to look down and see them. 11 years, multiple Spyders and I haven’t lost one yet. Theft is always sad to experience.

Maybe that is what happened. :dontknow: I had them attached with key ring holders. Both of them were still there. Tom :spyder:
