• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

for the last 12 years i leased a infiniti. a total of 4 of them over that time. every time i returned a car, all extra charges were dropped, and i moved into the next one right away. this time when i returned my M37X with 18300 miles on it, i ended my dealings with them. i couldn't find a better car then the infiniti, or a better bunch of people or service department. but the lease prices kept going up, and so did the insurance.

now yesterday i receive a bill from them for 450.00 for returning the car, and not leasing another one. well that kind of upset me. so today i called, and after being on hold due to high volume of calls, i get a young lady in Texas named Karen. she asked how she can help me, and that is when i said, i have been with you for 12 years. i have never been late with a payment, i always returned the cars in perfect shape with low mileage, and all service work was done at the selling dealer. but with the cost of the cars going up, i can't afford to keep paying that much, so i am no longer leasing with you. now i get this bill for 450.00 dollars, and i am wondering if infiniti can eat that money for a good customer. she said hang on again, and came back and said, i am deleting the bill for you, you will get another bill showing you owe nothing.

so i guess the old saying is right THE SQUEAKY GEAR GETS THE GREASE, and i am kind of glad i made the call.

Oh yeah....

I returned my wife's X-Type Jag some time back in perfect condition. It was a re-lease (much cheaper and like new) but during the time she had it the tires needed replacing. We did and they cleared all but sent me a bill for $186.oo because the spare did not match. It was never used and brand new...Also called and they voided the fee....They will always give it a shot....:banghead:

I have always bought my cars and never leased them so my question is.....

Was that $450 a valid charge according to your lease agreement or an error on their part?

i am now dealing with the GMC dealer. so far they put 2 pair of LUND window rain deflectors on the new car, and they both broke. so they need to replace them again. but the other problem i am having is with charging on the car. the dash gauge always showed over 14 volts charging the battery, but the last time they did the window deflectors, all my settings in the car were changed like they disconnected the battery. i didn't say anything and just drove away. on the way home that day i saw the gauge showed only 12 to 13 volts on it. i called them and they said, we will look at it when you come back in.

i went today to have them check it, and would you believe they said there is nothing wrong with it. and they have a special machine that tests it all. i get back in the car, and it is 14 volts showing so i drive away. on my way home, it starts discharging again. so i pull off to the side of the parkway and shut the car down. i wait a little and start the car back up. sure enough 14 volts showing. i take out my phone, put it on movie filming, and i start to drive. and there it went, from 14 volts, right down to 12 volts. when i got home, i downloaded the video and e mailed it to the service writer. she got back to me and said, she wants to show it to the foreman and will let me know what he says. so that is my next thing to settle. oh and i told them to give me the vent shades, and i will install them. so they did
