Same here John, heading out to sisters on LI. I can hardly wait to sit in traffic for hours. :banghead: i usually leave the dogs home, but my sitter isn't around this year....Should be interesting having 2 100 #'ers running around in a strange house...with even stranger people...:roflblack:

I don't have the luxury of going out....Family Thanksgiving and almost all holidays are at my house...I cook 90% of all food....clean the house...make sure the mom's look good that day.....and be happy to have everyone at our home......this year...12 guests....all inside....too cold outside....will wake up Thursday to 29 F.....way too cold for me....but thankful we still have our moms......

this is for Ann & Joe.....HAPPY ANNIVERSARY........we are 1 year behind ya

A Special Thanksgving

This is the first Thanksgiving since Katie's (youngest daughter) Honorable Discharge from the Army, and she wants to cook the turkey (with Nana's help) this year. This year is going to be both good. Good since Katie is home because Katie would have been sent to Afghanistan had she not discharged, and sad since my wife lost her Grandmother on 11/11/13.

Bring on the turkey, and apple pie :yes::yes:

Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday.

We'll be eating at home. Kris' brother, sis-in-law and niece will be coming in from Delaware. So it'll be home made sloppy joe. Her aunt and uncle will be coming up from Myrtle Beach on Thursday. I'll be doing the turkey on the grill.

Guess my favorite movie would be Claymation Christmas. But it's not shown on tv anymore. Most any of the Christmas Carol movies. I have all but two on DVD. I do like Nightmare before Christmas and White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye.

Finally Going Back Home

My wife and I will be heading to my parents house, which is right outside of Kingsport, TN on Wednesday. It has been a few years since we've been able to get down there for the Holidays. Don't laugh, but we are trailering the SPYDER with us. She has never been to Gatlinburg, so, on Friday, we are taking a leisurely ride together to do so. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate. We're prepared for the cold...just don't want it to be too cold. Family gathering, a good meal, and a SPYDER RYDE!! Does life get any better?!?! Happy Thanksgiving to All. May your Bless be many!
