• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SO WHAT'S EVERYONE DOING MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND?

Going to attend the 'Aspen Cash' bikefest in Rudiso,NM it is 18 19 and 20th. Plus will hit another bike gathering at the 'NO Scum Allowed" bar in White Oaks, NM and have a beverage or two and listen to the band.

Memorial Day ryde

IF WE GET THE BIKE BACK FROM THE DEALER (replacing throttle body) we are traveling with a group of biker friends from our Christian Motorcyclists Association local chapter. Ryding from Warsaw, IN to Madison, IN, a town on the Ohio River. We will take back roads getting there and back roads getting home. We will find a local Memorial Day service to show our respect and remembrance.

Here's a little info about Madison (from Wikipedia):

Madison has a powerboat racing tradition dating back to at least 1911. In 1929, the city began holding an annual race, later called the
Madison Regatta beginning in 1948. Since 1954, the Madison Regatta has held a high points Unlimited hydroplane race annually in early July. Although Madison has a population of only 12,000, the Regatta maintains its place in Unlimited Hydroplane racing hosting an Air National Guard H1 Unlimited Series race, whose other events are in Detroit, Seattle, San Diego, Evansville, and Tri-Cities, Washington. The Madison Regatta draws about 70,000–100,000 people annually and is held on July 4 weekend. A week-long riverfront festival also surrounds this racing event. Other attractions include Clifty Falls State Park, Lanier Mansion, Lanthier Winery, and the Rockin Thunder Jet Boat rides.

My first group ryde! Kinda. Neighbors invited me and the BF to ride to Urbana to the Ice Cream Festival. Very excited as that will be my longest ryde and largest (only) group ryde to date Of course I just bought my Spyder this month. All kinds of firsts going on!

 That sounds like a "Yummy-licious" good time!
Enjoy the Group ride too!

Counting the days till July 4 th!

I'll be counting down to the 4 th. I'm thinking that's about when I'll be able to get back on Spyder!

FINALLY getting a 4 day weekend that I can have my Excursion project out of service for a few days.

I am gutting the interior, all seats and trim panels and most of the carpet for a complete electronics package install. New speakers, touchscreen nav system, subwoofer, back up camera, full time 4G data connection, rear seat entertainment and other items.

All hidden or OEM install. Then a VERY through cleaning, touch up etc of each piece before its reinstalled in the vehicle. Will also be updating a few trim parts to later year upgrades that I have been stock piling from ebay....Oh and new leather on the driver and passenger front seats. Essentially bringing the entire interior back to new condition.

Hi SPECTACUALR SPIDERMAN,

Re: SO WHAT'S EVERYONE DOING MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND?

Not much. I am having my right hand operated on next Friday, the 26th.

Memorial Ceremonies

Not sure about Saturday and Sunday ... but Monday, we will ride over to Scotland, TX for their morning Memorial Day Honors. After that, we head to Windthorst, TX for another set of Memorial Day Honors. At both locations, the bikes are staged about 1/2 mile away and we ride in just before the ceremony, then stand a flag line. This is all set up by the American Legion Post 202, American Legion Riders, out of Wichita Falls -- they work with the local VFW to put both ceremonies together.

The following Thursday, June 1st, we have an Honor Flight Escort from Wichita Falls. These are SO much fun! I think the veterans for this flight are Korean War Vets .... no matter, just to be in the presence of such greatness is a true honor. The local LEOs really turn out for this one as well; so we have full LEO escort and usually 20 to 30 bikes (many, like my husband, fly big flags). It is AMAZING! I have yet to complete one of these without tears in my eyes ... but it is such a high honor, I would not miss it!

Whatever you do this weekend, please remember to Honor our Fallen Heroes -- that is what Memorial Day is all about.

All the best .... Ann
