• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So what did you take home from Spyderfest?

Besides Spyderfest t-shirt's and other trinkets . . . . Bump skid, Seal Floor Boards, Ultimate Seat . . . and lots of good memories. Oh yeah, a cc bill due next month :yikes:

What I brought back

new.jpg My new RT-Performance with NBV's, Spyder Pops skid & heat block,Butler mug, Spyderfest hat & shirt, as well as a couple of pounds courtesy of MO. Hicks and various other eatery's. :banghead:
I rode just under 2000 miles in 4 1/2 days, got back & my blood pressure was down a few points....BONUS:yes::yes:

:ohyea:We brought back lots of great memories, renewed old acquaintances, made new ones. We also bought a Sena smh10 intercom system from Big Ears.

Since I became semi-retired right after I purchased my Spyder, not by my choice, I refrained from purchasing a set of Elkas. I did get a set of ear plugs from BigEar as they were priced right. Got them in yellow to match my helmet.:D

I also did econo-camping to save costs. I bought a Can-Am hat, and a Cowtown hat. That's about it.

most valuable are the memories, then there is that bottle of White Mule Shine that i can not wait to share with my son, the views in W. Virginia, awesome, after traveling in the rain, snow, and cold, the sunshine! man doesn't it feel good!!!! the Mississippi, it is a lot bigger than the map shows it. My Grandson who is at Fort Lenard Wood in the Sea Bees i never thought i would miss him as much as i do. My new Butler cup holder and Gizmo Adapter, it is in my hand allways, 32 oz. of any thing drinkable and it holds the cold like nobodys business, Spyderpops bumpskid just moved to 2nd place on the best accessorys. the air wings work really well, i am glad they are red, looks cool. and finally the feeling you get when you see the big sign WELCOME TO MAINE:D:ohyea:

Elka shocks, bump skid, ultimate seat, tee shirts, rt 66 patches and pins and most of all....memories and great times!!! Worth every penny :)
Thanks all

Besides food, gas, & lodging my Spyder got a new Fan Can from ISCI, I got new gloves and sunglasses from Cowtown, leather purse in thew vendor village, Butch bought the Sena SMH10 communication system, a bottle of wine from St. James Winery, White Mule Winery on the Pass Port Run & one bottle from the Route 66 Store, Route 66 decals and bumpersticker and of course a visit to Wally World. Bought a cool Spyder picture frame from Eagle. Brought a windshield down to a fellow Spyderlover, so that helped make room room for some of the new stuff to take home! Lots of great memories made new friends re-acquainted with old friends we only see at Spyder events! It was a fantastic time all made possible by the ultimate event planners, Len, Cowtown & the MO Gang! Thanks again for a wonderful weekend.

Bump Skid (aka armadillo plow), air dams and really pretty screen mesh covers (aka more things to light), AirWings. All of these are due to a conspiracy between my bride (Bobbie), Faran, and Kevorama. But I'm totally happy. Oh, and a frunkfull of wine, suvie shirts, and 2 day pass to a little known gym down a dirt road from the Best Western for Bobbie.

TOTALLY forgot the Outpost! Hate that.

Never look

# 1 Never look at receipts

So I live 50 miles from Cow Town------this is not a good thing-----I am no longer allowed to go alone.
Then Spyderfest comes along drive up in the morning back at dark. I am smiling every minute one spyder after another on the road----and they all wave back.

When asked what did you buy in Cuba----- Virginia please remember now everything is spyderfest special pricing---- I got front shocks. some safety lights and 3 year extended warranty.
In that unique tone that only comes with wife experiences-----"how much did you spend"
I'm not sure but around 130 dollars--- I think.
Well that's not so bad.

I'm sipping some White Mule Double Tree White wine right now. It looks like cider but has a nice aroma and flavor. If you take little sips and not chug you will be surprised by the little kick it gives you in a half hour plus. Nice! St. James Winery had some very fine wines as well. We plan to locate their wines locally in the future.

I would love to have a vacation home in that area!

What I bought and what Kev bought or has purchased since (because of) Spyderfest are two totally different things!!

Me.. of course some more Spyder Bling Bling from BJ!!! Thanks!!

Spyderfest 2012 special edition wine bottle from White Mule Winery! Will try to post picture, great item. Oh yeah good wine too! Yes I bought the last four!!! One for SpyderLady Linda & John (although John won't drink it, will be me and Linda), one for Phil & Bobbie, one for Schultzie (rats.. those two bottles left Missouri before I could drink them LOL..) and one for me!! And of course St. James wine and a pair of boots, just a little on the patriotic side, just what the "Pyro Lady" needs. Hopefully my boots will be sent to me in a couple of weeks.

Oh on the other hand for the Spyder if that is what Lamont was talking about.....
Baker Air Wings
Ultimate Seat to be ordered in the next couple of months with the new design.....Black with red trim.... Oh yeah will look good
Ordering Sena SMH 10's because we didn't get around to purchasing them there
Couple of Spydefest hats & scarfs
Lamont's pegs and brackets
and of course More lighting from Reggie at TricLED.

That is all he has told me for now!!! You know the wife is usually the last to know when it comes to this stuff. Plus my kid is getting married and I am more worried about Craig's wedding than the bike.

I wish I could invite all of our spyder friends to their wedding on June 30th in Jacksonville. IL. But if anyone whats to put together a Spyder line, I think it would be cool

Our daughter is getting married in August. If it weren't for messing up her air with the helmet and wind... She would like to ride from the church to the reception with her hubby on Darth!
We now return control back to the thread.....

I finally got Baker wings but didn't have time to check out any of the venders for other goodies. Next year will have to do.:bdh:

I went 5100 miles through 9 states, over 14 days, to SpyderFest and all I got were new Elka's, SuperClamps, everything in the Swag Bag, and a SpyderFest Staff shirt.
