• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Spyder needed the battery charged so......

I took a nice leisurely ride down thru the Walpack/ Flatbrookville valley.
Cut across into Stokes State Forest and came back along Deckertown turnpike.
Beautiful fall day, 60 degrees out, leaves, pine needles, walnuts, all over the roads, it was great!
50 some miles, 1+ hour of, " clear your head time "........

How come people in Pennsylvania don't wash their heads before going to work? :hun:

Well

I got out of bed at 4:30 A.M. and rode my Spyder to the airport and was sky diving by 0730. I then had breakfast and sailed my sailboat out to the reef and did some spear fishing. I speared some nice hog fish and took them over to a local restaurant and they grilled up one of the fish for my lunch. I took a short nap, then this afternoon rode my Spyder to a local watering hole called Snappers, had a few beers, and talked trash with the other locals. What can I say, Just another day in........I don't need to say it, you know the rest of the story.

I got home today to uncrate another lift that I will be installing next week in the third bay. Ran out of room in the garage for the toys. The Vette will hibernate on this one for the winter.:cheers:

After... After... what? Work? WORK???? That's a FOUR-LETTER WORD around these hyar parts, ya hear?

I met the gang at 10:30am for our Tuesday luncheon ryde: one Harley leader, two Spyders, and one Harley Trike. Seven people (the poor leader's lady had jury duty today!). We rode 88 miles total, with lunch in the middle at a gourmet hamburger joint, with 1/2 pound burgers and skin-on fries, and all the fun camaraderie of dyning and ryding together.

WORK? Dang, now I gotta go wash my mouth out with another beer! Life is so dang tough!! Work!

:clap::clap::clap:

Ok, I'm retired too. No riding today. Ran down parts this morning for chain saw and leaf blower. Rebuilt leaf blower. Had to order parts for saw. Finished up leaf vacuum that has been in the shop for two weeks. Repaired flood water pump. Monthly meeting tonight with riding club. Wait, I did say I was retired didn't I?

I worked later so traffic would be lighter, then I took the long way home on the spyder. my 26mile ride, became 40... a brisk cool air at the bottem of the hills in the shadow. Felt so nice... then whap, whap, whap... bug storm. right in the face... shields up...rather, down. rode home to clean the visor and wind screen...
