• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

so what are you doing for the holidays

i for one have never enjoyed the holidays. i am a HUMBUG type of guy. tomorrow i start x mass with a early morning doctor appointment. my sister invited me to go there for her fish dinner but i said o thank you. and as far as new years i consider that amateur night and i never go out on that night. YES i am a dead head but old dogs don't change their ways. i hope what ever you do that you enjoy it and have a great time on news years. lets hope next year is better than this past year

 After hearing that; I may just go jump off of a bridge or something...

We're having "Sonny-Boy" and his "Girlie-Q" up for a Christmas Eve Dinner:
Pork loin roast
Stuffed mushrooms
Sausage mac & cheese
Veggies
Chocolate cake stuffed with raspberry filling

Christmas Day is just me and the Missus in our pajamas... :roflblack:

New Year's Eve is too far away for serious contemplation just yet... ;)

Holidays can be tough for a lot of people. My first set of holidays in my new house (2010) alone--was pretty hard to deal with. A TV dinner (turkey) just did not seem to do it.

I am also not a party person--so never did the New Year's Eve thing. Would rather be home and watch the festivities on the boob tube.

Since meeting Linda, all is well with the world again. The holidays are spent with her and my new found family. The same will happen this week and next. Looking forward to the holidays.

Going to Bob Denman's for Christmas Eve :bbq:, but going home for Christmas Day :yikes:

My Daughter always came home for Christmas, and New Years, but this is the first Christmas for her at home since her discharge. To celebrate we are doing the normal, going to sleep late, and spend time together. Merry Christmas everyone.

don't jump because of me

the family is used to my ways, i have been like this forever. i don't even go to weddings but i tell them if they die i will go to their funeral. i really hate family gatherings and it has been tough for my sister. when mom was alive i had to go because she needed to get there, but now that mom is gone for just over a year and a half i really don't have a reason to go anywhere. so it's just me and i won't change.
