• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So now what?

Take a hack saw and cut the factory antenna close to the base but with enough showing so the shorty antenna with the two or three Allen screws will fit overtop. Then just cinch down the Allen screws evenly and there you go. Don't worry about using the adapters.

Once you have it installed take the rubber grommet from the factory piece, slide it off and re-use it on the shorty. Take some dish soap to help it slide down as the aftermarket anntenas are a little thicker than the factory BRP one.

go to wal-mart and get the RMA900 replacement car antenna, costs about $10 and works great. short and flexable and if you ream/drill/cut the rubber boot it fits very snug.

?

Will the wal-mart one (RMA900, I think it's the whole thing mast and all) with adapters’ fit the Spyder brass block?
