• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So long Spyder, It's been nice know'n ya (kinda)......

Really nice bike! - - I thought I could do it too, and got a killer deal on a Stateline - put 400 miles on it in 9 months (summer!!), before I purchased my 2014 RT. Had the RT 4 months, and have 1500 on the clock.. Good luck.

Nice ride, I too went to a Victory Cross Country Tour when I traded my Honda VTX 1800N, but we still have the
2014 RTS with no problems.
Ride safe and enjoy!
Toby

One of the things that I like about the Victory is the low seat height. Even a short person 5'5" and short inseam can touch the floor.

Your absolutely correct, but the interesting thing is I'm 6'6" and am very comfortable on it also. It's a bike that really fits anyone.

Well I'm over my Spyder phase and back to two wheels. It was a tough decision to move on, but the nanny and heat issues were my deciding factors. I'm glad I got to chat with and meet some of the Spyder crew. I wish everyone on 2013 Spyders the best of luck getting their heat issues resolved. However Thats one less thing I have to worry about. Here's a pic of my new ride.

I too traded my 2012 RT just before Christmas, but I went the sport touring route. I traded for a 2015 Yamaha FJ-09. It is one sweet ride. I absolutely love it. The best machine I have ever had. It's light (463 lbs compared to RT's 900+), will go 200+ miles before having to fill up, 115 hp which means it is quick and fast - very fast - some might say it's a hooligan dressed in a suit and tie:) Although I never had serious problems with the Spyder I never trusted it. I got the orange screen twice although I was able to restart it and drive away with no problems. However that left me spooked. I have experience with Yamaha's and trust them to take me anywhere. Oh, I no longer have to muscle a machine thru the twisties - I just "think" about the turn and the FJ-09 does the rest. Not for short people however - seat height is 33.9 but you can lower it by about half an inch if you so desire but you're still above 33 inches.

Congrats, those are great bikes as well! I agree with the "have to muscle thru twisties". My new machine just flows through turns with little to no effort. While owning the Spyder I forgot they make bikes that you can get 200+ mpg out of.. Lol..

Sweet looking ride. I have always thought Victory had the best looking jugs of any V-twin.
