• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So, it's been a bit hot in Texas this week...

Wow! Didn't know Dallas got that hot.

Down here Houston way, its in the high 90's and humid. Just right for a sauna.:D

Evidently you have been forwarding some of that heat to north GA and north FL. I'm in N. GA right now and it has been up to 104 here... if memory serves me... the coolest day we've had in a week was 99.

My daughter is in Burleson TX and she said it's been in 3 digits there too. Ken krb1945

meh... we have got you all beat... The highest temp this year in our neck of the woods (According to my memory) is 74f :yikes::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

102 degrees on mine on Monday. Stopped in traffic felt like my arms were in a fryer. Luckily I was only going 30 miles.

Yup. Bro lived in Dallas for a while. Had to change the water in his kids pool 2x by noon - got too hot to play in. Was 115, 116, 110 the days I was there. Oh - 135 in the jetway - a/c was out.

You think it is hot? Went to class for m/c licence. Was 108 on Saturday and 111 on Sunday. 130+ on the asphalt for test. It got down to 101 at midnight. All I can say is I am glad we live in Pahrump and not Las Vegas. Pahrump is 65 miles west but it is so near death valley desert. I have seen it 129 here. Oh well, could be worse. Could live in Seattle where the sun shines 2 days a year and it rains most of the time. Live long.:p

Rode my Spyder today and the ambient temp reading was a cool 107 degrees. :yikes: The good news is the missing air dam mod tested very well in this heat, and kept my Spyder at 4 bars on the temp gauge at 65 mph. The bad news is I wore a t-shirt and forgot to take sunscreen with me. :(

We were only 95 degrees today.... with a wind chill factor of 108 degrees. What's up with that......:dontknow:
Got back from Seattle this week... High temp...68.... lows in the low 50's.... I soaked up as much as I could..... but it ran out when we hit the airport in Houston...
