So, I learned something Today.

Our flag is lowered to half-mast on Memorial Day, but only until 12pm. It is the only time all year that it is raised back up at Noon. Do you know why?
It is lowered until noon for all of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice defending her and all that she stands for. It is raised back up for the remainder of the day to honor those still living who put their lives on the line while standing watch over our freedoms.
As my Dad used to say, "You're never too old to learn something."
