So I get this call yesterday while at the Wings Over the Smokies

So I'm setup with Bushtec at Wings Over the Smokies rally with the Spyder and I get a call from Evan (NoMagicNeon) and he asked how many folks are going to show up for the cookout and my place. I tell him 40+ or so maybe more. So then he asked how much is that going to cost me so I gave him a ruff idea and he says his company would like to foot the bill in apreciation to all the customers that are going to be there. I've been doing this type of thing for 6 years now and I've never had anyone offer to do that for me. :doorag:

So I was going to have burgers and dogs but now I think I'll go with steak and lobster.:joke:

No really I think it's really cool that he did that and that just shows me that this is not only a great company but Evan is a great guy even though he is from New York.

So the burgers and dogs are on NoMagicNeon :yes::2excited:

Sept. 25 Thursday around 6 pm. You can show up anytime during the day if you like.

I'll need a head count to figure out how many burgers and dogs to get. I'll keep a list here.

Here's a map to my place from somewhere in Gatlinburg to my house. This is backroads to my house. You can jump on 40 to 81 if you want to save a little time.

Some people in other places made some remarks that we (NMN) thought we were too "big" as a company to be there. :shocked:

They know nothing about me and my conpany if they say things like this. Unfortunatly my company has made other commitments long ago to be at 2 other rallies that conflict with this one, and we can't be in two places at the same time. :dontknow:

But I, me, Evan.... am a Spyder enthusiasts 100%! I would love nothing more than to take my favorite toy out and have fun with all the other cool Spyder owners too! :2thumbs:

I felt real bad we could not come down, and I even looked into trying to fly myself down just for the day. But, the airport is too far away from Lamonster's house to be able to make the flight times work out to be there any length of time.

So, if I could not be there in body to party with all you cool folks at Lamonster's, at least I'd be there in spirit! Which gave me the idea to sponsor the party at Lamonster's house. :yes:

So I want you all to eat, drink, and be merry and have a great time at Lamonster's party!

Maybe next year the event won't be so close to these other rallies and I can come down myself and meet all you great folks who have supported our company with your faith and continued patronage. :thumbup:

Its too far from me BUT I know who to give my business to. Although its good business practice to do so many a company do not personalize their relationship.

I'll be at both Myrtle Beach and Biketoberfest, hopefully have my Spyder before Biketoberfest. I will look you up. I'll also be at Thunder Beach in Panama City, next weekend. Busy next 4 weeks. leave for Panama City next Wed, Get Home Sunday evening. Leave for Myrtle Beach on Wed, back Home Sunday evening. Home one week, hopefully pick up the Spyder this week. Then leave for Daytona the Next Wed, Home again on Sunday evening. No more Rallys till March.
