• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So, How ya'll doing out there in Spyder land?

After a few years of just maintaining my wife's Spyder along with a couple of motorcycles, my enthusiasm for my wife's RS is back. In the year 2010 we bought an RT because I was having an issue holding her up on my bike (due to a peg leg and a worn out knee on the other side). The down side was our big city dealer was not up to speed on the issues like the STEERING issue, or other things that anyone who rode a motorcycle for decades would notice. In time, my then new wife, started riding the RT in parking lots just for fun. . . . then an RS came into the picture. These machines are exotic and unique, and the sight of one on the road still makes us happy. We live in rural southern Oregon, the nearest dealer is almost 70 miles away. Spyder lovers is always a wealth of information, and finally our dealer started reading what was going on. Thanks to Lamont for starting this site and thanks to ya'll for your input and love of these 3 wheeled freaks! People ask me: "what's it handle like"? I say, like a friggin cutting horse with a rocket up it's butt!

Pretty good down here ,lil brisk, just trying to figure out our Thanksgiving plans.
Thanks for asking  hope y'all the same

doing o kay in Indiana , rain , a few days of riding in the next few days we hope ( still working on hanging lights for next month ) :coffee: ... the wife is still getting the hang of riding the semi auto matic , but when she gets it rolling down the road she is 18 year old school girl again , all giddy and smiles  .....

can't complain nobody listening, beside life is good. Got some ride time in yesterday with my new 15" Lamont wind screen much better than stock screen.

It’s been rainy & chilly on Long Island. We already had our first snow storm for the season, way too early. Weather man said our temperature has been about 10 degrees lower than normal for this time of year. But my Spyder has been in the shop over a week, so I’m hoping it clears up when I get her back. I’m planning some upgrades so I’ll just work on the Spyder when we have bad weather this winter. Now I’m trying to find a good adjustable electric screwdriver (drill) so I can remove all the Tupperware easier. Can’t seem to find a good, small, adjustable, rechargeable screwdriver. Think I’m gonna start w Magic Mirrors and the new belt roller from Lamont. That roller looks awesome.
Have a great day all. I’ll be staring at my phone all day, hoping dealer calls. Lol.

Finally getting cooler down here in the deeeep south. Planning my New Year's ride to Central Florida. Love my Spyder. I feel it has added years to my riding. Thanks for asking. :2thumbs:

LMAO, cutting horse with a rocket..... best analogy I've heard yet. Too funny, just picturing it.
Can't think of how many times I've said "Like a sled (snowmobile or snow machine depending on your location) on hardpacked snow", or like a quad.

I use "Like a rocket sled on rails" a whole lot! Especially since the ECU Upgrade! :2thumbs:

Well....

Great...!! Glad to have you back and you are enjoying the best spyder made to date...Love the RS and get more questions than the others hands down....

We are doing just fine in the mountains above Reno,Nv. The RTS is put up for the winter as winter is about to hit us. Snow blower pushing and skiing ( 2 days so far) ---- keeps me young. I may ski like an old man---- just try to keep up.

No Snow

No Snow yet. Just cold and wet. Got freezing rain showers early in the week. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

I left the Portland Oregon area and headed sound for the winter. I don't have my Spyder, but have other things, (music)to keep me happy here. I'll be ready to see my Spyder when I return in April. BTW, my sho is still up and running.
Ride in comfort,
John
