• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So how high was your snow....

Standing in 3 feet of global warming,,,,,,,:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Right.________ Where's Al Gore when you really need him? :gaah:

:roflblack:

I guess if you believed it was real, the first thing you'd have to ask yourself is... Where would they find a snowplow that tall?
Not using a snow plow. They have had snow blowers for years. Back in the early '80s we had a road in Northern Iowa that would get about this deep. Only they would bring a snow blower in and make one through the really high points. The good thing was that it is a straight road. Still not fun at night.

Sierra Nevada

There are places in the Sierras where over 30' of snow have been recorded. This, of course, was before Al Gore invented global warming. The ski resort, about 9 miles from home, has over 100" on the ground and has had over 240" this year. And more comming this weekend:yikes:

If I didn't love to ski, it would cause:

Kaos

CuznJohn mentioned seeing these in his front yard this morning... :yikes:

That's not from the US. They are driving on the "wrong" side of the road. We do have a place like that though. Thompson Pass, just up the hill from Valdez--the snow capital of Alaska.

They may not be driving on the 'wrong' side of the road if someone put the 'negative' in backwards. You need to be older than 50 to really understand that one.

We had one walk right up to us in Disney's Abimal Kingdom Park.
We were on their Safari ride, and a young one came right over!

They don't. Heavy duty snow throwers. They can do a lane at a time with some of them and the snow is blown hundreds of feet.

On second look, this may be a computer manufactured pictures.

The ONLY thing keeping the Spyder in the Garage, is the amount of salt that's been laid down on the roads...:gaah:

Japan

The original photo is not a fake. It's the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route in Japan

Here's how they dig it out.

 I honestly don't think that I could feel comfortable on that road...
What if a snowbank collapses into the roadway???? :yikes:
You'd be buried for sure!

Well it took me all of today and a round trip of 630 miles but I managed to find some snow in NZ for you:
