• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So Glad I Bought a Spyder!

I know how you feel

Just took mine in SE Wisconsin and those little 250's are difficult to ride in the class for the duration of time at those speeds. Glad I took it, I learned a lot.. In Wisconsin there is a two wheel and three wheel motorcycle license endorsement.

Finished my safety course today. I am very glad I took it and learned a lot. Just need to mass the DMV test and then it's time for the Spyder. The only thing that would worry me about testing on the Spyder is that I replaced the stock pipe with a Two Brothers. It may fail because of that.

i'm sure they would widen the distance between cones if you show up on your spyder!:2thumbs:
Actually in Illinois they give a different test for the Spyder and there's no weaving test.

My wife and I both took the test on our Spyders. My only tip would be, don't watch the digital speedo when they say to go a certain speed. It lags behind and you'll find yourself going way too fast.

Passed regardless :)

If you do take it on a Spyder they give you an M-class with a J11 restriction, 3 wheels only. So if you ever want to ride a regular bike you should take the test on 2 wheels.

The exhaust wasn't a problem when my wife and I took our tests.

When I took the course, they had 250cc cruiser bikes, and I had been riding off road machines for so long, when I had to power walk and put my feet on the pegs, which were toward the front, I kept putting my feet up on the frame near the engine, and almost wiping out. Frustrating! :sour:
