• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sneak Peak- PowerSportsWraps.com

Got done about 8 last night and we're getting ready to load up and head out. The snow pretty much quit late last night so we should be good if I can get the trailer out of his driveway. I'm real happy with the end results and to be able to go from stock to full on custom in two days is pretty darn cool. :2thumbs:

See anything different?

Hey Lamont... Let's give them a hint for this photo... "Look closely at the Right & Left lights" & it starts with a the letter "T".

Lamont, It was great working with you on the RT & I'm really glad that you gave us the opportunity to work on the Spyder. One of the best parts of doing the graphics is watching it step by step as it evolves into the finshed project. Your graphic choice was perfect for your color & I think once the members see this bike in person they will be amazed with the detail & effects. I'm confident that most people will think you had it custom painted. As we say... "Why paint when you can wrap?"

You and Bob are welcome back anytime.... but let's get together when the temps are a bit better.. Unless, you enjoyed all this SNOW? I would really like to take a spin on that amazing RT you have. I have yet to ride one. Also, tell Bob bring his truck & we'll put him to work... room & board is on us. After all... you did say this is like a bed and breakfast.

I knew what it was but I cheated! It's the lighting in the photo that is throwing people off. The left side seems to be in brighter light and the right side just looks to be shaded instead what it really is. That's why people aren't getting it.

That and the fact that the difference isn't as dramatic as I thought it would be.

:2thumbs:

Very nicely done! :congrats: to both yourself and Pete on a great collaboration.

I hope you have a safe trip back home, and then on to Daytona.

Great job Pete!!:clap::clap:

Wow, Lamont you truly have a unique Spyder, Love it  I hope now BRP decides to give you This Special RTS Lamonster Edition to you, you deserve it. To
heck with it just being on loan. You deserve it for for being an ambassador and 2nd for creating this website that has probably provided so
much insight to the mother company. Of course if there ever becomes a Spyder museum they may want it back in it's stock form :yikes::roflblack:

This just shows what an awesome possibility with all the after market goodies you have added on.:2thumbs: Looking forward to seeing this in person in less than 60 days

Suggestion, if you didn't already do so would be a matching helmet:thumbup:

Thanks for all the great comments, it makes that 1100 mile trip worth it. :D

I love it! You should charge BRP to license the name. It would be like those special "Harley Edition" Ford pickups. A Designer Spyder, the "LaMonster Edition"
Fred
You can be my agent and negotiate the deal. :2thumbs:
The N in Lamonster and the N in Edition are the same. It's partly the angle and partly the font. But it's AWESOME Lamont! Really makes the fenders look a lot better for sure.

So, are you going to take Fred's advise? You could be the next Paul Teutul.
Paul JR maybe, not senior. :chill:
Looks great Lamont!!

Matt
Thanks Matt, I'll hookup with you on my way out to CA if I can or you can see it at Spyderfest. :doorag:

As you know the trip started off a little rocky and when I got there and we started going over other options I was really getting bummed out and thought about heading back home. I looked at so many options that my brain was going to explode if I didn't make a decision right there and then. I'm glad this is the path we took and I really couldn't be happeir with the project. This is my first time to try this process and if it holds up it won't be the last.

You have a great family and it was great for you guys to take us in the way you did and make us feel right at home. I think Bob is still upset he couldn't fix your phone right then because he didn't have his truck with his tools but I wouldn't put it past him to show up one day out of the blue. He's a great old guy, they don't make them like that anymore. nojoke

We have a winner :firstplace:
Pete has never done this kind of application but wanted to give it a try. His son did the install and it took him a few tries before he was happy with it. I did the tail lights too and you do still get good light through them. What's funny is Honda is now doing the same smoked lens on the new Goldwing.

I like all your suggestions except putting it back to stock :yikes: :D

I was on your site last night looking as some of the units for sale. I saw some RT's for sale as well... OUCH!! tempting i tell you. You know Kelly would like to relax as we ride instead of being on the bubble of the ZX6R. That's one way for me to get the templates of an RT... Hmmmmm I may be able to use that as the excuse to buy one..

Lamont, I love it. I will be in Erie, PA visiting my family after Americade in June. Can I ask what the job cost you and how long it took?

It took two long days but every job would be different, best to call Pete and ask him as far as cost and time it would take.
