Well I have a 2011 RTS.......

This is the best thing I have put on my Spyder since the Baja Ron sway bar!

Do you lessen tension when u install these? if you are not getting any vibrations does that mean the belt is over tightend ? I wondered why y'all were putting this on,if your belts were worn or what?:doorag:

The belt tension spec has about a 30% variable in it. Most people I see or have read here on SL find the dealer adjusted the belt on the loose end of the spec. HOWEVER if you may have complained of belt vibes to your dealer they may have tightened it to the high end of the spec to help remove those vibes. This tensioner adds 6-12 lbs. I would only worry about using it unless your belt is adjusted to the high end of the spec.

FYI, next weekend I am going to shoot a video of what the belt is doing with the idler backed off. Should be interesting
