• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Smoothspyder Dual-Mode Backrest is now available. "Dual-Mode", meaning that it can serve double duty as a backrest for the passenger when riding double or also just for the driver when riding alone. Easily and quickly adjust from a relaxed passenger position to the drivers position, or anywhere in between. The pad also has 3" of up/down adjustment and can be set tight or left slightly loose to conform to the riders back position. It bolts on through existing holes, there is no drilling or cutting of the seat required. Constructed of plate steel, grade 8 hardware and matte black powder coated. Carbon Fiber Wrap is an option and looks very nice on the ST's with the carbon fiber trim on the seat. The matte black model is $450 and the carbon fiber is $500 and includes all mounting hardware, instructions and Speed Wrench. Send me a PM if you have any questions, would like to see more pic's or purchase. Thanks for looking!DSC00004.jpgDSC00005.jpgDSC00159.jpgDSC00158.jpgDSC00156.jpg

The installation is very easy once you have the rear panels off, the whole upper assembly is removable in less than 5 minutes. The only tools needed are a 1/2" wrench.DSC00099.jpgDSC00102.jpgDSC00110.jpgDSC00114.jpgDSC00070.jpg

Teddy wants to know

Thats a little vague above in bold.

Seconds ??? , Minutes, ??? Do you need tools to adjust it between driver and passenger ????

For a aftermarket backrest, it looks good !!!!

Great Job  Thats a good looking backrest. I'm contemplating but weighing the cost between this and the competion ie BRP and Kewlmetal for roughly the same price (give or take a few dollars) you get a backrest and luggage rack as opposed to just a multipositional backrest. Just a friendly observation. :doorag:
