• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Smoothspyder belt tensioner vs Baker belt stabilizer

I know there been topics on this in the past and if you take it back to the dealer they should have a service bulletin about belt adjustments..
From my understanding they suggest to lower the belt tension to cut down on vibrations.

BRP has changed the belt spec 3 times (maybe more). My 2011 is still running the spec before they upped it in 2013 to reduce the vibe.
Smooth Spyder still helps as you will never get rid of the vibe since it is speed/load related.
All the change did was make it not happen at most people's cruising speed but now you will get it an other speeds.

Just my take...
