• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Smoothspyder Belt Tensioner & Spyderpops Belt Guard

Anybody using one of Jim's newest version of the belt tensioner that bolts to the rear shock mount, with a Spyderpops belt guard. I already have the guard installed and just purchased the tensioner. I now wonder if I can install it with the guard in place.

Don't know..!!

for sure but you should be able to mount it without any problems. I have the older version but had the belt protector on before hand and had no problems. Your instruction are pretty good and you could call and ask them....

So, I went ahead with the install and found it easier to just remove the Spyderpops guard. It probably will work with the newly-designed Smoothspyder tensioner, but I found difficult to complete the installation with it in place and also no longer see a benefit of having both. The new tensioner has a guard incorporated and will offer adequate protection.
