Yesterday I went to a bike show and answered questions by the pound. One fellow a Harley driver was really interested and asked if he could sit on the spyder.
Because of his interest and attitude I had to say yes. He mentioned he had seen me out riding during the week and was glad I came to the show.
TODAY I was out for a short ride when lights and sound came on behind me ----one of Jefferson's county's sheriffs cars wanted to get my attention.
I found a safe place to pull over----got my helmet off and reached for my wallet when the deputy said -----I forgot to say thanks for letting me sit on your spyder yesterday.
The message here is clear-----be nice --- answer questions with a smile !!!!!!
He gave me one of his cards and his email so that I could get on his "lets ride" email list.

I also took my Spyder to a local bikefest on Saturday with 8,000 plus bikers. It took me 20 minutes to be able to walk away after parking it. Then everytime I went to check on it I would count anywhere from 10 - 25 people standing around it. Sometimes I would let them know I owned it and would answer questions. Other times I would just stand by and listen, some of the conversations were funny. ;D

It was a hit though...everybody loved it. :bigthumbsup:

The most common comment has been:
I have never seen anything like this before.
I explain that we have two new dealers in Missouri one in Saint Louis and one it Kansas City. They as yet do not have a demo so its going to be awhile before more are seen on the street.
Most are really interested it the working technology.
One comment was:
This is the future.
Its always interesting to hear others talk about the spyder.
