• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Smart phone mount

I used this on my RS and my friend is using it on his ST. Much less fuss , easy to remove and does not damage the handle bar.

I owe all credit to FlameWinger. I just got through assembling my phone mount using the Rivco bracket and Ram mount products. Only difference I did was I spray painted all the shiny metal black!

It looks great! A couple of other things I'm doing to it - I have a Sena SMH10R headset that I can talk to Siri on my iPhone with to control apps, etc. So I can switch to myRadar, music, maps, etc. The only thing I can't do verbally is take pics.

So, I set up the mount so I can place my iPhone with the camera lens on the top left while it's laying horizontally. Now I'm going to cut a pair of Apple headphones just above the in-line controller. While the phones in the cradle, plug in the headphones and have them wired behind the handlebars with the in-line controller within finger reach. Two things... 1) by pressing '+' you activate the shutter, thus a remote camera control at your fingertips; 2) by pressing the center of the controller, you activate Siri for voice activation control.
