Smart Car or Spyder?

Help!! I need to make a quick decision. I am still waiting for my Spyder. Should be within the next month. I have an immediate opportunity to purchase a Smart Car http://www.smartusa.com/ I can't afford both. Which one should I get?

you will probably lose your $1000 deposit on the spyder. i have ridden in a smart car and i'd definitely rather have my spyder

You must be aware that the Spyder is a Sport item, to use for enjoyment, travel out in the air, just the same as motorcycling. The Smart car can be used for the same purposes, BUT you won't be duplicating the open air effect of motorcycling. If you need a vehicle for work and home use get the car if you can't have both. As other posters have said, it depends on your needs. If you are just looking for some practical everyday transportation, the SmartCar is probably your best bet. If you are looking for a fun, open-air riding experience, then "Y" not buy a Spyder? ;D

Can't get those in the US though..... emissions.

I'm about to cancel my pre-order on the Smart...... was told by the dealer that it'll be May or June before I know within a couple weeks of when I'll take delivery.......... AND it won't be delivered to me till probably late October........ I put my deposit on that...... January 16th!....... I give up, gimme my refundable deposit back!
