• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SM5 with Hindle, Crackle POP

I am getting a lot of crackling and poping with my Hindle. It does not seem to be there all the time, but comes and goes. I think the bike is too lean. I have thought this since getting the bike. Does anyone have any suggestion or thoughts on this.

Go to Evoluzione.net. He sells an O2 sensor modifier which is supposed to take care of the lean running with aftermarket exhausts.

The too lean debate with exhaust is something that's going to go on forever. Most of the time you're going to get some sort of decel popping when changing your exhaust and it doesn't mean that the bike is too lean. Typically you're going to have to change the air intake as well to make a bike too lean. If you're overly concerned about it before spending more money I'd recommend simply pulling the plugs and looking at them. A lean plug is going to be chalky white.

I just installed my hindle last night, and I must admit, I kind of like the popping... :dontknow:

Besides that, the Spyder is running 2 bars cooler in 90 degree weather.
