• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SM5 & ISCI Floorboards

I know they are available for the manual shift RT and would like to see a picture of the shifter side and your impressions !! Anyone out there? Thanks ;)

Thanks for your reply but it looks like they sit on top of the foot peg and I need lower. I have been told the ISCI can be adjusted 1 1/2 inch lower as the peg is removed but I have no idea what happens with the shifter in the lower position?

Sold!

I like what is see!! An inch and a half lower then stock pegs should make a world of difference !! Someone mentions tilting the floorboards down in the front, a good idea as I seem to tilt my feet down on the oem pegs so I think I'll try that first. It also looks like I can slide my feet forward or backward to get comfortable. :2thumbs::2thumbs:

Added feature?

Just noticed in the pictures that there is a black piece of metal coming out from the underside. That looks as if one can slide ones foot just far enough forward the rest ones toes on but keeping your heel on the floorboards. Am I right? And can I get those as well ?? That will give extra stretching of the legs to get comfortable!!

Actually that is our bracket for mounting highway pegs or cruiser boards. We just dont have the riser mounted in this picture. They can be found here on our website.

Thanks. It looks like the brackets would work but I would need to see them on an RT to make sure. I think one can slide his foot forward leaving his heel on the floorboard and toe on the bracket? Right? Just another position for the legs to stretch? A side profile picture with the floorboard angled downward at the front would show if the foot would just reach the right angle. Think about it, no lifting of the foot, just slide forward or backward. Not sure how strong the brackets are?

I have this picture here that might be what you are asking about. The floorboard is angled down too. The brackets in this picture are prototypes that didnt work as intended. If you get our brackets they will be like what is pictured in the link on my previous post. As far as the strength of our brackets they are more than strong enough to stand on. The brackets in this "post" are on an RS but they are made the same way and with the same material. That should give you an idea of strength.

A picture tells a thousand words. It looks as if you have exactly what I want! With the floorboards angled down I will be able to slide my foot forward enough to get comfy and not be spread to far out or away from the brake pedal or shifter. Nice setup. I might attach something to the brackets like a pad or something to look better then an empty bracket. Thankyou !! I'll be in touch.
