• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It appears that the Spyderlovers web site is very slow today. The time it takes to respond to a click on a post is very long.I am using Google Chrome to access Spyderlovers. Other web sites seem to be at the normal speed. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Repeal of "net neutrality" starting to take effect ??

If it keeps up, contact your ISP.

More likely a temporary technical glitch along the way somewhere.

I bounce between Chrome, IE-11, and Edge...
Chrome and Edge have been functioning normally: perhaps the problem is only at your end of the technology? :dontknow:

There were reports of system-wide attacks yesterday...
It might just have been this forum's software; trying to keep out the intruders.

I believe that I fixed it.

First I cleared the cache for Google Chrome - no difference.
Next I Cleared the cache and rebooted the computer - no difference.
I unpinned the SpyderLovers tab and deleted the tab, brought up a new tab and went to SpyderLovers.com - no difference.
Last step was to "Log Out" of SpyderLovers and then log back in. WOW this fixed the slow response.

I had never logged out before as what could some thief steal from me while logged in to SpyderLovers. I guess that the worst
that could have happened was thief could have posted some very nasty comments, etc. That would have gotten me tossed off SpyderLovers.:joke:
