Slick Corbin Seat

So probably due to my poor posture my tail bone was really giving me fits after a few months on the Spyder. Got a Corbin seat and it took just a month or so before I was completely comfortable again. However my problem now is I can't stay on the seat. No grip between jeans and leather. Have tried a number of leather conditioners, one that Corbin recommended as theirs is never in stock. So sliding is a much bigger problem on a Spyder than a reg bike so has anyone beat this problem? I was thinking a leather patch for my pants!

Rubbing alcohol will take the slickness, and the sheen, from the seat.

My wife had the same problem sliding on the Corbin passenger seat. She went to Walmart and bought non-skid/non-slip shelf liner that is made from a plastic type of material (comes in beige and black). You just cut the material to fit on the seat. It will stick to the seat and works great with jeans, etc. When done riding it lifts right off the seat. No mess, residue or damage to seat.

The reason it's goofy is because if you order a set of heated seats, flair, trunk and a few saddle bags you can damn near buy a new Spyder for what you'll pay for all that stuff. hyea:

Bought a roll of the stuff at WalMart, cut out a couple of pieces and hit the road. Perfect! And a good thing, that dang Wyoming wind will darn near pull you off the bike if you aren't paying attention!
