• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wayah Rd is a sleepy not known rd. Really good to ride. Thats a lot of really good areas, scenic views, and curvy roads. Have a good time

+1 for Wayah Road. Many moons ago my mother cautioned me not to slip and fall into Alarka Creek. Then she proceeded to slip in. Fortunately the only thing damaged was her pride.

The BRP will be closed off and on from 421-21 in NC starting Monday (5.15.23) and lasting about 3 years for some much needed paving.

Yes I found out. I will just ride to 121 mile marker to the detour on the BRP. Then over night in Troutville, then to the Interstate to the next hotel . Thank you for the info MONK.

You have quite an adventure ahead of you. I have done all of those roads at one time or another. Did the southern roads that you mention 4 weeks ago on my BMW K1600B. The weather was great, and getting 300 miles per tank was an added bonus.
