• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hubby wants to purchase a trailer that will haul my Spyder limited and his Yamaha 1300 V-star together. Any suggestions? We've been talking to AirCorp in Colorado but don't think they have one wide enough. Any suggestions would be most helpful!

You need a 7.5/8.0 x 14 trailer. I have an 8x12, and it carries my RT and Valk, but it is tight - the extra 2 feet will give you some wiggle room. If you check on E-bay, you have a ton of vendors in your part of the world to choose from, and at prices that are at least 10% lower than anywhere else in the US...

I doubt you'll find a trailer wide enough to load both side by side. You'll need to park the two end to end, like they would be in a trailer, and then take measurements. Only then can you then go shopping. You'll also want to consider tie down arrangements and order of loading. Weight placement where will help you get a trailer set up the way you need it while maintaining a proper tongue weight. A competent trailer dealer should be able to help. Also, if the trailer is enclosed, you'll need to allow more room for moving around the bikes while loading and tying down. An open trailer is easier in most respects, but doesn't provide as much protection. Also, you cannot load the bike backwards on an open trailer without removing the windshield. It is not designed to handle the airflow in reverse and can snap off the windshield.

I got an all aluminum trailer from tommys trailers in OK. I could not be any happier. If you go to their web page www.tommystrailers.com you can see some pics of mine behind my RV hauling my two trikes to Florida for the winter in November. I use it now to haul my Spyder and golf cart. I am very pleased with the product.
