• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

just a thought but i personally think everyone should edit their signatures to say where they live ( no addresses just state or county ) and what type of bike and year they have. i am new to the spyder world and spend a lot of time reading and exploring ideas to do to my bike and a lot of people don't say what they have and where they are from. tell me to mind my own business but i just think it is a good idea. unless your wanted by the law than i understand

Hi John,
This is an issue that has been suggested several times in here.
:agree: with you that having some information about a person's bike always helps to make it easier when questions arise.
But some folks are pretty cautious about putting their locations out for viewing... :dontknow:

i know i read about things that people do to their bikes only to find it will not work on mine

The 2013 bikes are quite a change from the previous offerings... You've got to be REAL careful about checking the fine print for these!
But we'll sometimes get a question about which exhaust system or fuel controller might work best; and we don't even know what kind of bike it's going to be put on.

Some people are more cautious than others when it comes to information given.

Note: I am still waiting for those Social Security numbers and bank account verifications from some of you. You are holding up my data bank information. :joke:

Had to go check...I have location...2 different Spyders and where I've been...and y'all can figure out...where I'm going

Don't know..!!

but I see on most all avatars there is the date joined and the location. At least the state and or city, what is really needed is the year and model roadster one has..many avatars have pic's of the spyder and many have that info in their profile...just saying...
