• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Signal Dynamics BackOFF Brake Hold Module Install

Guess the answer is No.

The module needs a Pulsing (square wave) Speed input (0-12 volt) usually on a transmission VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) that is a hall effect type (three wire) sensor. The Spyder has no such sensor, I can only see the Wheel Speed Sensors for the ABS/VSS/TCS system, the computer must get all the data from them for the speed reading. The wheel speed sensors on the spyder are variable reluctance sensors (Two Wire) and are analog signal at very low voltage and need signal processing to get a digital speed pulse. They are used because they are reliable proven technology, very rugged to harsh conditions and inexpensive sensor.

While the good news is you can still keep your hands free when stopped, the bad news is you can only put one foot on the ground .
