• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After installing mine; I forgot to mention something... :opps:
Getting the outer backer plates installed on the right-hand saddlebag is a whole lot easier, if you remove the muffler first.

Having had to replace one of my saddlebag pods because of a broken hinge I can definitely see at set of these in my future!

This picture will give you an idea of the extent you have to go to replace the pod! :yikes:

Wow, Bob, I just reached up there with my fingers and slipped everything in place and tightened it down. Of course I work with my hands all day long, too.

It's a good thing that you only have to do that once!

I would agree that the muffler makes it a bit of a pain, someone suggested removing the muffler shield, but I agree on miy bike removing the muffler would have made it faster, but I opped to just take my time and get the nuts on and tighten.

I should mention that I have absolutely NO manual dexterity...
If I could install them; there's not a chimpanzee on the Planet, that would find the chore to be too tough!
