Waiting .....for spring

Winter is here - near zero for this weekend with windchills below zero...ugh. Spyder has been asleep since mid November.....

Currently a light snow falling...

21 here this morning. heading out on the spyder in about 45 minutes to meet up with a couple other Veteran Bikers club riders to attend a PGR mission for a fallen United States Navy Sailor from the Korean War era. heated grips please don't fail me now!

Well, I went ryding last weekend!

It was around 50, but certainly manageable.

However, you can all enjoy ryding this summer when it's 100 here in Alabama and my seat is melting.

Winter is...

...what it is, here in the Midwest. :gaah: My tolerance level grows shorter and shorter with each year of my age, especially now with a Spyder in the garage, with only 550 miles on it from last year (got it real late).

Nevertheless, Winter must be dealt with, so if you are going to live here (and not go nuts in the cold months) - you better have some other indoor hobbies lined up. I learned that a long time ago....

A while back my son sent me a web site that showed a Spyder converted to a snow mobile. Expensive and complicated. Also saw one with just a sled like extended bumb skid.

Western Canada perspective

Went out for a short ride yesterday. Temperature was 5*C (41*F) with snow on the ground but roadway clear and dry. It was a little cool, but a beautiful winter day for a ride. Heated grips set on low were very nice. It sure helps to make the winter shorter when you can break it up this way. I'm hoping to be able to get out again today.:bowdown:
