There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bob, I heard they moved it closer to a school zone where the traffic moves slower. It's safer to cross there.

It's all funny, but some of it is so stupid that it is sad. Sad for us as citizens...but, I wont say anymore than my usual TTBO.
RE: treestand--most states say that hunting by a road is not legal--due to safety issues. That is the case here in Alaska--but it is scarry to see all the road signs with large bullet holes in them. I am always thinking--will today be the day I pick up a stray bullet?

Oh... :shocked: No treestands in telephone poles along the road...
YOu backtrack the trail far enough that the roadway isn't an issue, and you set up about fifteen yards to the downwind side of the trail... :thumbup:
