• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just wanted to drop a line and share my :spyder2: story with you all. Some friends and I(all Harley riders, don't hold that against them) went to a local bike ralley this weekend in Cassoday, Ks. It's held the first Sunday of the month Mar thru Nov and there is always a ton of bikes there. http://cassodaybikerun.com/ If you get the chance to ever make it I highly recommend it.

Anyway, we pulled in and parked right in the middle of town and the :f_spider: in all it's glory went to work. I hadn't even got it shut down and people were heading my way. By the time I got off the beast I had two people asking me questions about her and one guy snapping photos.

It was like that the whole time we were there. My friends couldn't believe how much attention the :f_spider: was getting. Lots of pictures and question's, one fellow even asked me to make an appearance in his bike show in Feb.

We headed out of town with lots of on-lookers and went for a 200 mile ride. All in all it was a great day. I hope to see more Spyders there in the future!

My experience at Cassoday was the same last month. I was going to go this past weekend but I could not see more than 50 feet with the fog. I had to meet someone at 2:30 so I rolled over and went back to sleep I woke up at 10 and it was to lat to go. :dontknow:

:2thumbs: I know that feeling myself! The sales folks at my dealer (Action Motorsports, Lafayette, IN) warned me about folks coming out of the woodwork, wanting to know more about "Scorpio". Ditto for the picture-taking, as well. It's a lot of fun...isn't it?!:ohyea:

Been there, done that....

Nice story Johnecat. After having my Spyder for almost a year, I am only too familiar with that type of experience and the best part about it is I never get tired of it. Yee Haw!!! :)

Welcome Johnecat! I'll be attending the Missouri HOG rally this weekend with all my HOG friends... should be interesting!
