• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Show Chrome Driver Back Rest

I have a 2015 Can Am Spyder RT, I am thinking about added the Show Chrome 41-158 driver back rest. My question is my seat has the knock out for a back rest. Will I need to make a cutout in the seat to install the Show Chrome back rest like their video shows? Is the knock out in the correct place for their back rest?

No you do not have to cut the seat for 2014+ models. You do have to make a slight notch in the BRP Insert (knock out) that is already on your seat. The knock out is in the correct place.

Thanks for the reply. That I would not mind doing. Can you tell me if the back rest is good? Are you using one?

Its on my wife's RT. Every time I ask here about it she replies "its great!!"

It was purchased from Amazon Canada... so for us no U.S dollar exchange and no ridiculous shipping charges.

Back Rest

I put mine on Tuesday and love it

I just order one for mind. I just installed their driver floor boards and they seem fine. I would rather have the Can Am floor boards but they are to expensive for me. I am looking at Lamonster Highway pegs. They look like they would be good. I see there are several choices for the foot begs. Has anyone used these and which begs are best?

I bought the Lamonster mounts for my 2012 RTL and got the footpegs from a member on here for a good price. I like them, they put my feet at a good position and they unbend my knees enough that the don't hurt at the end of the day. I am also not so far forward that all the pressure is on my tailbone. My legs still support me a little.

I have had both knees replaced and need to move them around. I never felt I needed foot begs till after I had my knees replaced. I had them on my Honda F6B and needed them.
