I would like to give a shout out to 2Brothers Powersports in Onalaska WI. I was riding with the wife in Wisconsin Dells Saturday 22 June when my 2018 F3L, with only 14000 miles, would not shift out of 1st gear. I got the spyder to a parking lot, looked it over and the wife said it was the front sprocket. She had read (on Facebook) that a lot on F3 had front sprocket failures. We called 2Brothers (86 miles away) to pick up the spyder at about 3 pm and the owner was in the Dells at 5 pm to pick up my spyder. Tuesday 25 June the service department confirmed the wife’s diagnostics. The wife also had her 19,000 mile check up on her 2017 F3L. While getting her spyder serviced, the service tech checked and replaced her front sprocket. I got my spyder back Friday 28 June and we’re both happily riding again. BRP is replacing failing front sprocket under warranty.
If you have an F3 I would suggest getting a service tech to look at your front sprocket and get it replace if you have red dust on the sprocket.
