• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

North Texas Spyder Rider

I am new here on this great forum. And I too have just gotten a spyder and looking for fellow ryders in the north Texas area. I live the Lewisville, TX. just north of DFW airport.

I'm getting to be in the same boat so-to-speak. I had two retina reattachment surgeries on the same eye in ten days. I'm also having lower back and knee issues making handling a big two wheeler a challenge in and out of my garage and backing out as well as low speed maneuvers with my legs pushing the weight. A real challenge would be if the nearly 900 pound bike would ever drop and I wouldn't be able to get it back up. Now that the eye is questionable I'm really thinking this a good time to make the switch to three wheels. I need to feel safer and more secure, especially if my wife wants to ride as passenger. My local dealer has a new leftover 2016 Spyder F3T reduced in price and that might be the ticket. Congrats on you getting your F3, I'm sure it was the right choice.

That's how I bought mine. Left me enough money to buy an unlimited life-time warranteeee!

Greetings from Ohio and welcome even though I am not yet a Spyder owner. I am in a similar situation with a bad back and two bad knees. I also had to have retina surgery on my right eye and that too is questionable as to whether or not I'll get 100% vision in it. That makes me feel a whole lot less than secure trying to go back out on two wheels. Fortunately the two nearest dealers have left-over Spyders discounted. Hopefully I'll get back in the saddle again as you have, on a Can Am that is.
