• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shortie advice

The dealers are not compensated for the parts or labor to change the handlebars or foot pegs and many, probably most, dealers do not have all the different handlebars and brake/shift rods in stock. As stated one way or another you will be paying for it. No need to get mad at the dealers.

But they do have to assemble the bike out of the crate. Even if they charge her for the bars (how about a credit for the stock ones they'll keep), they can set up the pegs in which ever setting works for her.

That's basically it Pattie. It's a wash one way or another. Tom :spyder:

So where are the pics of the F3L.......remember it will be for your wife.....until you ryde it....the :yes::yes:........it will be yours! Too much fun to not ryde!
After a three-day "soak" of the idea: she decided against it... :banghead:
No bike for her.... YET!

Actually; I prefer the ergonomics of my RT.

if you are paying then they should return the originals. When I bought mine I was given back the original bars and links.

Have you sat & test drive the bike? I'm <5'2" and the first time I rode it with the settings they had, I initially felt like my arms were stretched out. But the second time around, I felt really comfortable like I melted into the seat. I haven't changed bars or settings at all. But it's your ride, you need to find your comfort.

I've been on a couple of test rides and my arms are stretched too far; there is no bend in my elbow.
