Short gal needs a mounting peg on a Ryker Rally - any advice on how/where to mount one?

The left one is all stock parts.
If you look at a Can-Am parts manual, it shows how it bolts together.
Not hard to do, if I can figure it out anyone can.
If you want a right side one too, you change to a right side footpeg ( needs some grinding to fit)
all the other parts are the same.

I am hoping to get some trips in this Fall, so I am not sure about what luggage yet. The Shad saddlebag would be my best bet, but I’m afraid for the length of trip I'm planning, I would need a little more storage than that. So the bottom line is that I’m not sure yet... If I can’t figure out how to put the peg on, then it will definitely be a Shad bag and a backpack. Thanks so much for the help!

Whittiford, what model Ryker do have?
Some come with the Max- mount, some don't.
Makes it easier to mount things, like passenger seat and luggage.
You planning long or shot trips, solo or passenger.

Thread 'Can You Tour on a Ryker?'

So we recently got a 2020 RTL and have been riding two up. But now she wants to ride by herself

She wants a 900 Ryker, but she also wants something that she can do tours on. Is the Ryker tour-able?

If so, what add-ons do you recommend to make it tour worthy?

Side note, if we do go to riding our on rides, I'll likely sell the RTL and get a two wheel touring bike for me. The Honda NT1100 DCT is catching my eye lately.

Last week I purchased a used, 2025 Ryker Rally with 300 kms.
I am just over 5' tall and can't get on the bike when the linq luggage bag behind the drivers seat is on.
I did find an old thread where someone added a 3rd peg for mounting. There was a picture but nothing on how / where to mount it.
I would like to be able to keep the bag on the bike, but it is currently off so I can get on the bike.
I am hoping someone can help me.

Older post, but you *may* have seen the pix I put up shortly after adding a standard LH footpeg awhile back. I found the complete assembly on eBay for dirt cheap, so I couldn’t pass it up. I’m not particularly short (was 6’ 1-1/2” but shrinking). At 82, I’m not as agile as I once was so I have difficulty swinging my leg over any “stuff” I’m carrying behind the solo aftermarket seat I mounted, or if I have a backrest mounted for when on long trips. My ’22 came with a full compliment of luggage and an Ultimate Seat with the driver backrest. Swapping it out with the solo seat gave me enough room to add a 2 ga. Rotopax fuel container – JIC.

Unfortunately, the extra peg doesn’t slide back as far as I’d like, so it’s still kind of a pain to step up in an awkward angle so I can slip my foot/leg though the gap between the backrest and the rear of the tank hump. The backrest does fold down, but trying to maneuver my posterior out of the way enough to put it down, or back upright with me straddling the machine probably looks rather comical. Ya do what ya hasta do.
