• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shop Manual for RT-S SE5

Flight Risk

GOS member (Girls On Spyders)
I wanted a shop manual for my 2011 RT-S SE5. My dealer said it would cost $170.00 which seems a "bit" expensive. Does anyone know of this manual as an online download, DVD, CD......anything?

Just would like to have the manual.

Thank you

I purchsed the BRP manual, cost was $200.00 from dealer. The hard copy is of high quality. I believe that the eBay offerings are a download or a disc. Then you tale your laptop to the :spyder2: to do the work. I am probably still in the stone age :banghead:, but really like the hard copy factory originals. It is over 700 pages long and the two schematics are about 3 x 4 feet in size.

I don't mind bringing the laptop to the garage - I probably would even if I had the hardcopy manual as I usually am looking up something here on spyderlovers.com while I'm working on the spyder.

I just print the pages I need and I don't have to worry about getting them dirty and greasy. Trash them when I'm done. I'll admit that a factory manual would be nice but that's a lot of money.

The Midwest Manual version of the RT service manual is a fully searchable PDF file, which makes it great. It also includes the service manual for the RT-622 trailer. I have it loaded on my Android smartphone, so it's always with me.

I also "E-Bayed" mine... Print what I need to take into the garage, but then I hole-punch them and keep them in a hard binder for future reference. I figure that if I live long-enough, I'll eventually print the entire manual...

Me too....

I ordered the same yesterday! My new ride will be delivered to a local dealer in the next few days. Unfortunately, i will be in DC until the 24Th, UGH! I did ride with 6 other spyders (me on my BMW K1200) and had a great time. I can't wait!
